What started as an assembly of 'homemade' boats, the Formula 16 Class quickly matured after its official recognition by World Sailing in 2010. Recognizing its potential, we worked alongside engineers Morelli & Melvin to develop a purpose-built F16 Class boat.

Carbon components
The Nacra F16 Carbon lives up to its name with lightweight, high-strength carbon parts. Featuring options like a full carbon mast, boom and bowsprit, the F16 offers a perfect balance of reduced weight and increased strength.

Sails
The Nacra F16 sails are crafted from a High-modulus laminate, stronger than steel yet as light as a feather. Renowned for its superior strength-to-weight ratio, this fabric is the highest-performing material available.
