Overview
The pathway to youth sailing. The fast-growing Nacra 15 Class in its C-Foil (curved daggerboard) configuration is now one of the most popular and most-desired fleet of the Youth Sailing World Championships and is even more unique at the Youth Olympic Games. The Nacra 15 is a smaller version of the original Olympic Nacra 17 Mixed Multihull, creating a true Olympic pathway.
Designed in 2015, the Nacra 15 offers high performance, super competitive racing with speeds upwards of 20 knots.
And now Nacra Sailing offers the all-new Nacra 15 Foiling Package, for both double- and single-crewed configurations. Excitement for everyone.

ANY WAY YOU WANT TO SAIL
The Nacra 15 is the first catamaran we’ve made that offers great versatility for any type of sailor. Since the induction of the first model as Youth Olympic multihull by World Sailing, sailors have been asking if we could tailor the N15 to their specific desires. Therefore we decided to produce a non-Olympic version in multiple configurations: double crewed daggerboard, double crewed foiling, single crewed daggerboard and single crewed foiling. Despite these configurations not being Class legal, they
offer everything sailors want. Speed, performance, stability, excitement and more than anything: a sense of adventure. Of course constructed with the exact same Olympic quality materials – only the configuration differs. While the double crewed N15s come fully geared, the single crewed versions come with a specialized Decksweeper mainsail and spinnaker, lacking a jib. Everything is optimized for the way you want to sail.
Features
The Nacra 15 is just as versatile as its sailors. Multiple configurations offer nearly every sailing style possible on a fast and nimble multihull. Designed to overhaul the small cat world with a direct path to Olympic sailing, each configuration is a step closer to the Olympic pathway. In many ways, it’s a scaled down version of the Nacra 17 Olympic, with the only big difference being the mast. And just like its big brother, every Nacra 15 is fully equipped with Harken™ hardware.
Single-handed sailing – the ultimate solo adventure. Specifically constructed for one sailor, the Nacra 15 One is equipped with a Decksweeper mainsail and spinnaker only. A modified trapeze system and the optional Foiling Package make sure that even solo sailors can fly a multihull.
SAIL PLAN
Olympic performance put to the test. Every Nacra 15 configuration boasts the same top performance sails as the Nacra 17 Olympic, but scaled down. Made of durable Mylar cloth, they’re more resistant to breaking and tearing – perfect for younger sailors learning to reach their top potential on the water. Note that the single-handed Nacra 15 (One, One incl. Foiling Package) versions have a standard Decksweeper mainsail without a jib.
The Nacra 15 sail plan offers a very sturdy Mylar mainsail and jib with optimized power distribution and a brand new in-house developed batten tension system. The strong polyester spinnaker pushes your boat’s upwind performance to the edge. Available in multiple colours.

Ready to start flying?
ON SELECTED MODELS
All models outfitted with an Foiling Package (FCS or Flight Control System for short) are ready for full foiling – during your sail, specialized hydrodynamic daggerboards combined with upwards pressure make you get a controlled ‘flight’, meaning your whole boat will be above the water, rather than in it. Make alterations on the water during your flight to find the groove you are looking for and fly over water to leave others behind.
These so-called Foil sets are designed to fly in a wide range of weather conditions, to make competitive catamaran sailing accessible to even more sailors, and are built to meet the highest safety standards. A real treat for the more, or a little less, experienced sailors.
Using the best possible manufacturing techniques available, we’ve obtained maximum strength with minimum weight using autoclave technology, curing the pre-impregnated carbon/epoxy at 120 degrees Celsius at an atmospheric pressure of 6 bar. It will put you miles ahead of any fleet in terms of performance and joy.
International Nacra 15 Class
The Nacra 15 was chosen by World Sailing as the World Sailing Youth Multihull in November 2015. The boat is used during the World Sailing Youth World Championships and Youth Olympic Games. The Nacra 15 is the pathway for young sailors on their way to the Nacra 17 and the Olympic Games.
